Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Nuri collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Who We Are

Nuri is a child handover app that helps parents and caregivers keep a shared timeline of care activity, including sleep, feeds, diapers, notes, child profiles, invitations, and related family information. In this policy, "Nuri," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Nuri app and website.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, sign-in method, authentication details, and account settings.
  • Family and child information: family names, child names, ages or dates of birth, avatars, caregiver roles, and invited family members.
  • Care logs and content: sleep, feed, diaper, and note entries, timestamps, who created an entry, edits, deletions, and any photos or media you choose to upload.
  • Subscription information: purchase status, entitlement status, plan type, renewal status, and related metadata from app stores or subscription providers.
  • Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, push notification tokens, IP address, crash logs, diagnostics, and basic usage events.
  • Communications: messages you send to support, feedback, and information needed to respond to your request.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Nuri.
  • Create accounts, families, children, caregiver roles, and care logs.
  • Sync shared timelines between invited family members and caregivers.
  • Send service messages, invitations, and push notifications.
  • Process subscriptions, trials, purchases, renewals, and access controls.
  • Protect the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot bugs, and analyze performance.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Sharing Within Your Family

Nuri is designed for shared care. Information in a family workspace may be visible to invited members of that family according to their role. You are responsible for choosing who you invite and for removing access when a caregiver no longer needs it.

5. Service Providers

We may share information with trusted vendors that help us operate Nuri, such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, push notification, email, payment, subscription, and app store services. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.

6. No Ads or Sale of Personal Information

Nuri is not an advertising business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your family's care logs to target ads.

7. Children's Information

Nuri is intended for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers, not for use directly by children. Adults may choose to add information about children they are authorized to care for. If you believe a child's information was added without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and respond.

8. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Nuri, maintain your account and family timeline, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account or certain information by contacting us.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices

You can update account information in the app, manage notification permissions on your device, control family invitations and roles, cancel subscriptions through the app store where you purchased them, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of information where available.

11. International Use

Nuri may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the date above or providing notice in the app.

13. Contact

Questions or requests about privacy can be sent to support@nuri.care.
