1. Agreement to These Terms
By creating an account, downloading the app, accessing the website, starting a trial, buying a subscription, or otherwise using Nuri, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Nuri.
2. What Nuri Does
Nuri helps parents, guardians, and caregivers maintain a shared child care timeline. The service may include family profiles, child profiles, sleep logs, feed logs, diaper logs, notes, media uploads, invitations, roles, notifications, and subscription features.
3. Eligibility and Responsibility
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and have the right to provide information about any child or family you add to Nuri. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.
4. Family Members and Caregivers
You control who you invite to a family workspace. Invited members may see family information and care logs according to their role. Only invite people who are authorized to access the relevant child care information, and remove people whose access is no longer appropriate.
5. Your Content
You keep ownership of the information and content you add to Nuri. You grant Nuri a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for the people you share it with. Do not add content you do not have permission to use.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Nuri for illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
- Upload content that infringes someone else's rights or privacy.
- Attempt to access accounts, families, systems, or data without permission.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service.
- Use Nuri to send spam, harassment, or unwanted communications.
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship to a child or family.
7. Not Medical, Legal, or Emergency Advice
Nuri is an organizational tool. It is not medical advice, legal advice, professional childcare advice, or an emergency service. Do not rely on Nuri for urgent health, safety, custody, or emergency decisions. Contact qualified professionals or emergency services when needed.
8. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments
Some features may require a paid subscription, such as Family Plus. Prices, trials, renewals, billing periods, taxes, refunds, and cancellation rules may be shown in the app or handled by the App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider. You can manage or cancel app store subscriptions through the store account you used to purchase them.
9. App Stores
If you download Nuri from Apple App Store or Google Play, the app store's terms may also apply. The app stores are not responsible for providing support for Nuri unless their own terms say otherwise.
10. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, suspend, discontinue, or change parts of Nuri from time to time. We try to keep Nuri reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error free.
11. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or used the service in a harmful or unlawful way. You may stop using Nuri at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.
12. Disclaimers
Nuri is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nuri and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or unauthorized access, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Nuri harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the date above or providing notice in the app. Continued use of Nuri after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
